The 96th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo The Pitti Special Click, which took place in Florence from 11 to 14 June 2019 and featured previews of the men's spring/summer 2020 collections , has recently ended.
For the occasion, the historic Fortezza da Basso took on the appearance of an exotic village complete with a 1000-square-meter central stilt house.
A key event was the tribute to Karl Lagarfeld; the men's and women's spring/summer 2020 collections were exhibited, while London street artist Endless created a 5x9-meter live portrait of the late designer.
It was an edition full of novelties for menswear and placed at the center trends that embrace contemporaneity and sportswear, avant-garde and classicism, street style and new luxury.
The biggest must-have for the next spring/summer 2020 season will be technical outerwear and jackets, halfway between extreme conditions and sportswear. The aim is to reinterpret sportswear in a contemporary way through vintage, technical materials and bright, bold colors.
