What to wear to a wedding

Wedding Couple Raise your hand if you haven't received an invitation to a wedding this summer! From May to September, invitations are pouring in and it's the same old story : a man in a suit and tie is always elegant, but mistakes are always around the corner. Here's a little guide to help all wedding guests not to look out of place on such a formal occasion. First of all, the dress is a must : it's fine to be original, but the jacket is not an optional. If the ceremony is in the morning, it's better to opt for light colors such as blue, gray or beige. In the evening, however, a dark outfit is a must. Now we come to the piece that interests us most: the shirt . White is the ideal match for any dress, but you can experiment with shades of blue (light blue shirt with blue dress). It's summer and you're tempted by short sleeves? Here are two reasons to avoid them: a short-sleeved shirt is not worn under a dress and is even less appropriate on a formal occasion like a wedding. Patterns are banned , unless you are an original type, capable of creating a look outside the box. Shoes and socks are essential to complete the outfit . If white socks are absolutely out , dark socks or socks in shades similar to the dress are welcome. Shoes can be the outlet for your personality : if you are a real dandy, go for lace-ups and monks, if you are young you can afford a nice pair of trendy sneakers.
